Hot Air Ducts

Hot air furnaces deliver air warmed to approximately 130°, Pet birds cannot tolerate this temperature and, if their cage is placed in front of a hot air duct, they will quickly die.

Even if your bird has been chilled and you want him warmed as quickly a possible, do not place him in front of a hot air duct.
